To provide our guests “private party” experience, the Muskegon River Lodge is booked only to a single couple or group at a time. When you reserve the Muskegon River Lodge, the entire 12.5 acre property is yours and your group’s alone to enjoy. No other guests will be booked during your exclusive stay.
The Lodge features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, gas-fired fireplace, an outside door to the deck, hot tub, sauna, and full bathroom on the main floor. The walkout level has one king-sized bed and three full-sized beds, a sitting area, and full bathroom. The loft area offers a king-sized bed along with two full-sized beds for a total, then, of eight beds. The Lodge is licensed for up to ten guests, which is possible if two persons use two of the beds. For guests wishing complete privacy, we recommend use of the walkout and main floor levels. Groups larger than ten persons may be arranged at your request by Muskegon River Lodge staff via off-site lodging.
With its full western log construction, planked flooring, tongue and groove ceilings, the Muskegon River Lodge evokes a welcoming warmth—perfect after a full day on the water or afield. The adjoining Game Room and Lounge building with its pool table, poker table, Foosball table, dart boards, and humidor complements the Lodge The centerpiece of the Lounge is a turn-of-the-century oak bar. A large flat screen television with satellite service may be comfortably viewed from a roomy leather couch, love seat, and chair.
Upstairs is the 16’x 30′ knotty pine finished conference room, complete with 10 person conference table, additional seating, and white board.
Outside, a cedar sauna and large hot tub beckon you to unwind and relax. A patio set positioned on the side deck enables drinks or meals to be taken out-of-doors. The front deck with chairs offers views of the grounds leading to the water. For scenic sights of the river itself, stroll down to the deck overlooking the river. Want a picnic lunch or snack at the river’s edge? Walk down the short steps to the picnic table at the waters edge. It’s all there for you.
